Choose from White, Polished Chrome or Brushed Chrome Finish
This LED downlight is available in white, polished chrome or brushed chrome finish. While each has distinct looks, all three finishes are perfect for whatever design scheme you have in mind! Whether it's a modern interior, a classic layout or a fusion of both, this downlight will not have difficulty blending in.
If you love decorating your home and often find yourself reconfiguring its design, a simple ceiling fixture like this downlight will provide you with more creative freedom. Remember, ceiling lights are installed high up in your home and changing them takes more time than swapping out floor lamps and table lamps. If it’s too customised to a specific theme, you’ll have no choice but to stick with it or do a time-consuming makeover.
When shopping for downlights, there are two varieties that you will come across: fixed and adjustable downlights. A fixed downlight produces a steady downward glow, ideal for general lighting or for adding depth and dimension. Alternatively, an adjustable downlight has a movable gimbal that you can tilt up and downlight to a certain degree. It is perfect for task lighting and highlighting focal points in the room.
This LED downlight is an adjustable downlight, allowing you to change the direction of the light beams to satisfy your requirements. You can put a few on top of work surfaces or direct the beams towards artwork, decorative elements, furniture pieces, or centrepieces!
This LED downlight is fire-rated, meaning the hole you cut to install the fixture is completely resealed, and your ceiling is reinforced to extend the time when the fire will spread. With this, you and your family will have sufficient time to escape, and the damage to your home’s structure will not be as bad.
Only a fire-rated fitting can fully restore a ceiling’s compromised fire integrity because it’s made with an intumescent pad that activates when exposed to a particular temperature. Thanks to that, the tiny crevices the downlight cannot fill in are blocked, preventing the fire from slipping through. So, to guarantee your home's fire protection, opt for this LED fire-rated downlight!
Mains Powered - Effortless to Install
Installing this LED downlight is quick and easy, as it's made with features that streamline the process! It has a twist and lock mechanism for fast bulb changes and a large push-fit loop-in/loop-out junction box that enables you to daisy-chain your lighting in series.
Besides that, this LED downlight is mains powered; therefore, you don’t need to purchase a separate LED driver or transformer to make it work. All you have to do is plan the placement of the fixtures, trim the cut-out hole, wire it directly to the mains circuit and add a bulb of your choice. Once you’re done cleaning up, you can sit back, relax, and enjoy your brightly lit room!
Constructed from Die-Cast Aluminium and Steel
This LED downlight is constructed from die-cast aluminium and steel, so even if you’ve had them for years, you can expect that it will not rust or tarnish. For the upkeep, occasionally wipe it with a clean damp cloth to remove all the dust and dirt that’s hindering the light from being delivered to the surfaces below.
When replacing ceiling fixtures, you will need to prepare a ladder and exert more effort because of its position. So imagine using a light fitting that will only last for a few months, forcing you to redo the entire process. Well, you can avoid that by using this LED downlight from the get-go!
Works with a GU10 Bulb
You can use this LED downlight with any GU10 bulb because it's designed with a GU10 lamp holder. Although, since it's a dimmable fixture, pairing it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch will enable you to utilise its dimming function!
As for the GU10 bulb, you can get it in cool white, natural white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are both ideal for task lighting. The only difference between the two is that cool white has a crisp bluish tone, while natural white has no hints of blue or yellow. On the flip side, warm white light is suitable for ambient lighting because its yellowish glow can create a relaxing environment!
