This is a 24v DC LED strip light, meaning you need an LED driver to make it work. It’s not like those mains-powered lighting fixtures that can be wired directly to the mains circuit. 

To know the appropriate LED driver for your strip light, you must multiply the total length of the strip light you’ll use by its wattage per metre. So, if you’ll use ten metres of LED strip and it’s 15w per metre, multiply the two. Once you get the answer, look for the LED driver that’s equivalent to the strip light’s requirement or more than that. Never get an LED driver with a lower load than what your LED strips need.

Let us know the lengths you require, and we’ll deliver them as you requested! Just note that this LED strip light is cuttable by 100mm increments. When you place your orders, ensure that it’s rounded off to the nearest 100mm.

There are many ways to operate this LED strip light, allowing you to customise the controls to suit your preferences. You can use it with a remote control, an LED-compatible traditional wall dimmer, or smart speakers like Alexa or Google Home. You only need to pair the controls with the appropriate LED driver!

If you don't want to dim your strip lights or you will couple it with a remote control, use a standard LED driver. Alternatively, if you're going to use it with a standard wall dimmer, pair it with a dimmable LED driver. Just ensure that the wall dimmer you're using is LED-compatible because it will flicker or not dim if it's not.

It is IP65 rated, which means it is water-resistant. You can use it in your living room, bedroom, dining room, kitchen, storage room, hallway, garage, and bathroom (zone 1). This LED strip light can produce a warm white colour temperature. Unlike natural white, that’s clear and resembles a cloudless sunny day and cool white that has a crisp bluish tone, warm white light has a yellowish shade. It’s suitable for ambient lighting because its warm glow can create a serene and cosy atmosphere (opposite to cool white and natural white, which is typically used for task lighting).
