Colour Rendering Index (CRI) measures how accurately colours appear under artificial light compared to natural daylight. The scale ranges from 0 to 100, with 100 representing true daylight performance.

The COB LED strip light can be cut at 50mm intervals, allowing for accurate sizing for detailed layouts and tight dimensions. The strips are sold per metre, so you can order any quantity required, whether a single length or multiple custom sections.

For example, if three strips are needed at 1.5m, 2.8m and 4m, all three will be cut, prepared and supplied accordingly. Upon arrival, the strips can be installed according to the planned layout. Custom requirements can be confirmed at the time of ordering.

Optional smart controllers allow this COB LED strip to be integrated into a professional lighting control system, enabling smart controls for retail and commercial environments.  Pairing with a compatible controller allows lighting to be managed through smartphone apps, a centralised control interface, or voice platforms such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, or Apple HomeKit.

This COB LED strip only needs a low 24V DC power to operate. A suitable 24V LED driver, sold separately, is required for safe operation. It must not be connected directly to the mains circuit, as doing so will damage the strip.

Power consumption is 14 watts per metre. The compatible LED driver is selected based on the total length of the COB LED strip being installed. The total number of metres is multiplied by 14W, then rounded up to the next available driver size. This ensures safe operating headroom and extends the system's lifespan.

For example:

• A 3-metre run requires a driver rated at 42W or higher.
• A 5-metre run requires a driver rated at 70W or higher.
• An 8-metre strip needs a 112W driver or higher.

Both dimmable and non-dimmable LED drivers are available. Non-dimmable drivers are a cost-effective choice when simple on/off control is sufficient. If dimming is required, a dimmable LED driver must be selected and paired with a compatible controller.

LED aluminium profiles deliver a professional, finished appearance and enhance the overall performance of the COB LED strip light. While the no spot LED strip is already dotless, using a profile with a frosted diffuser creates an even more refined architectural finish.
