12v DC - LED Driver Required & Use with our LED Profiles
Because our LED COB strip is 12v DC, it needs a separate LED driver to function. To know which to choose, multiply the watts per metre (for this strip, it's 8w) by the total length you'll attach. Then, round up to the closest available LED driver. Never use a driver with a lower
capacity because it can damage your lights.
For a cleaner finish and boosted protection against dust and inquisitive fingers, you can use this COB strip light with our expansive collection of LED profiles. Review the dimensions first to ensure everything will go together. This strip light is 12mm wide, so find a profile that can house that size.
