Because this is a 12v DC strip light, it requires a separate LED driver to function correctly. To know which driver to use, multiply the watts per metre (in this case, 8w) of the strip by the total length you’ll connect. Then, round up to the closest available LED driver. Never use a driver with a lower load capacity because it can ruin your lights.
