12v DC - LED Driver Needed & Use with our LED Profiles
Since this is a 12v DC strip light, it needs an independent LED driver to work. To know which to get, multiply the watts per metre (for this strip, it's 8w) by the total length you'll connect. Then, round up to the nearest available LED driver. Never use a driver with a lower load capacity because it can harm your lights.
