When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.

Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.

Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.

Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.

Adjustable Downlight
There are two types of downlights that you can find, fixed and adjustable downlights. A fixed downlight has a stationary gimbal that enables it to produce a seedy downward beam of illumination. Alternatively, an adjustable downlight has a movable gimbal that allows it to tilt up and down, giving more options when it comes to the trajectory of your light beams!
This LED downlight is an adjustable downlight, providing you with more flexibility when arranging your lighting design. You can use it to highlight pieces of art you collected, display cabinets, memorabilia of your family, and other distinct features in your home you want your guests to notice when they walk into the room!
Stunning White Finish
Designed with a simple round bezel with a stunning white finish, this LED downlight makes an excellent addition to any interior design. Because of its minimalistic look, it blends well with everything, whether it’s traditional, rustic, vintage, or something out of the ordinary!
If you love styling your home and constantly update it whenever you feel inspired, having a neutral base is better than going all out with a particular theme. That way, when it is time to shift to another style, you don’t always have to start from scratch, as you already have a solid baseline. So, don’t forget to include this LED downlight as the starting point for your many interior design ideas!

Straightforward Installation
Installing this LED downlight is not a hassle because it is designed to streamline the process! It is mains powered; therefore, you do not need to purchase a separate driver or transformer to make it work. After preparing all the tools you’ll need and plotting the placement of your fixture, switch off the power box, wire your lights directly to the mains circuit, add a bulb, and you are done!
Always be careful, and do not do the installation yourself if you’re not confident. Although you’ll have to pay extra if you call for an electrician, at least you are safe, and you are confident that your lights are mounted correctly!
Suitable for 90 Minute Ceilings
This LED downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection, meaning the hole you cut to install your lights is completely resealed, and your ceiling is reinforced to extend the time when the fire will spread. With this, you and you’re family will have enough time to exit, and your home’s structure will not suffer extreme damage, given that there is an immediate response to address the situation.
When you trim a hole in your ceiling, its natural capability to act as a barrier weakens. As a result, fire can easily infiltrate it and travel throughout your roof and walls. Only a fire-rated fixture can restore this lost fire integrity. That is why you must use fire-rated lights like this downlight in your home!

Works with a GU10 Bulb
You can use this LED downlight with any GU10 bulb because it has a GU10 lamp holder. Although, since this is a dimmable fixture, pairing it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch will enable you to use its dimming function!
As for the GU10 bulb, it’s available in three colour temperatures: cool white, natural white, and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are both suitable for task lighting. The only difference between the two is cool white has a crisp bluish tone, while natural white has no hints of blue or yellow. Alternatively, warm white light is perfect for ambient lighting because its yellowish shade can create a cosy atmosphere!
The Dimensions
When it comes to installation, knowing the dimensions of the fitting is necessary to ensure a spotless outcome. This is particularly true for recessed lighting fixtures! If you just improvise, there’s a high possibility that the hole you cut is too small for the light to fit or too big that it ends up falling off! Also, you might see your fixture protruding instead of sitting flushed because you did not consider the available ceiling void and the height of the lighting unit.
So, remember that this LED downlight is 110mm tall with an 85mm diameter and requires a 75mm cut-out hole! Follow this precisely, and you’ll have nothing to worry about!
