Adjustable / Tilt Downlight
Do you like redecorating your home often? If that’s the case, although fixed ceiling fixtures are fine, an adjustable LED downlight can help you achieve the end result that you’re after! Since they’re made with a tiltable gimbal, you’ll be able to redirect the light beam wherever you want. You don’t have to be too restricted with the placement of your fittings because you can just change it to where you need it!
This LED downlight is an adjustable downlight, so you’ll be able to do everything mentioned earlier. It’s perfect for multifunctional spaces like the dining room, kitchen and dual-purpose bedrooms (work and sleeping area) since it can quickly adapt and supplement your requirements.
Superior Quality, Made from Pressed Steel
When buying lighting fixtures, aside from the light output and electrical consumption, you also need to consider the material they’re made from. You don’t want to end up with a fitting that will crumble after a few use. This is particularly important for recessed downlights because you’ll have to look for a unit with similar dimensions if you don’t want to patch your existing holes and trim new ones!
Durability and quality are not a concern with this LED downlight because it’s made from pressed steel. If you want to keep it looking brand new for a long time, just clean the bezel regularly from any dust and dirt build-up!
GU10 - No Transformer Required
This LED downlight is designed with a GU10 holder, so you can pair it with any GU10 bulb. However, since it’s a dimmable fixture, it’s better to use a dimmable GU10 bulb to utilise its dimming function!
When it comes to installation, you won’t have a hard time because this LED downlight is mains powered. This means you don’t need to purchase a transformer to make it work since all you have to do is connect it directly to the mains circuit.
Although installing this fitting is easy, if you’re not confident, it’s best to call for an electrician. Yes, you’ll be paying extra, but at least you’re safe, and your lights are installed correctly!
Another factor you need to consider in terms of installation is the dimensions of the fitting. This can affect the placement of your downlights and influence the end result. If you don’t have enough ceiling voids to accommodate the fixture, it will protrude. Also, if you trim your cut-out hole too much, there’s a high chance that your lights may fall off! Both are not the outcomes that you want to have after all the hard work you did.
So to avoid any of those situations, measure accurately and know the size of your lights. That said, note that this downlight is 100mm tall with an 88mm diameter and requires a 67mm cut-out hole!
Beautiful Brushed Chrome Finish
Having a few trendy lighting fixtures is okay because they can be the focal point of your space. However, this may not be a good idea for your ceiling lights, especially if you like changing your interior every other month or season. A futuristic-looking chandelier may not fit if you suddenly want to try a vintage aesthetic. To not waste your time and money replacing and buying replacements, it’s best to stick with a minimalist ceiling fixture like this LED downlight!
It has a round bezel with a beautiful brushed chrome finish. Since it’s muted and the style is simple, it can blend with any theme and pair well with various furniture and decor pieces!
Pick from 3 LED Colours (Optional)
As mentioned earlier, this LED downlight is suitable for a GU10 bulb. You can get that bulb in three colours: cool white, natural white, and warm white light! Don't have a clue what they look like? Here's a gist!
Cool white and natural white are both used for task lighting. The only difference between the two is cool white has a crisp bluish tint that may appear too strong for some, whereas natural white is like a cloudless sunny day without a shade of blue or yellow. If you're looking for something more comfortable in the eye, it's best to use natural white. Alternatively, warm white is ideal for ambient lighting because its yellowish tone can create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere!
