6-Sided Lantern Design in White

Raise your hand if the first thing you think about when buying a light fixture is aesthetics. Well, you’re not alone on that end. A light fixture needs to be able to provide proper lighting for your space, but it also needs to look good.

Enter: this six-panel outdoor wall light with a white aluminium frame. It’s not only a good-looking decorative piece, but it also provides uniform lighting on all six sides! It’s got the timeless elegance of the past, but the white finish gives it a touch of modern design.

Installing this light is not just a want; it’s a need. Because illuminating a space is easy. Making it look good while doing so? It can be a challenge.

PIR Motion Detection – Wide 120° & up to 8m Range

Why do we light our spaces? Visibility, of course. But another reason for installing lights is security. But here’s the thing: non-stop lighting can balloon your energy costs in just a matter of weeks. Nobody wants that. We’re sure you don’t.

But thankfully, light fixtures like this lantern are fitted with a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor, which detects movement. Why is that important? Well, right after detecting a movement, the sensor automatically turns the light on, illuminating the whole space, including the one responsible for the detected movement. And if you’re a burglar or an intruder, that means you’ve just been caught red-handed.

And the sensor is reliable too! It has a wide 120-degree range that reaches up to eight metres. In other words, no one escapes its “view”.

E27 Lamp Holder with 60W Max Output

The beauty of having a fitting with a standard ES lamp holder is that the possibilities are endless (figuratively, of course). With this lantern, you can fit any light bulb as long as they have an E27 base. That means the flexibility of this light fixture is unmatched, unlike those with an integrated or set LED light.

Imagine being able to choose and swap any bulb that you like at any time… just because you can. That’s right. With this white PIR wall light, you can choose the light bulb that you want. The brightness, colour, and temperature of your light are all totally up to you. More precisely, it’s all up to the bulb that you use. Just make sure that they don’t exceed the 60W max output.

IP43 Rating for Sheltered Outdoor Use

Rated IP43 to protect against water spray; suitable for covered outdoor locations, porch lighting and entrance walls.

Here’s a disclaimer: You can’t install this beautiful wall lamp out in the open. It can be outside, but not all the way. You get what we mean?

This lantern has an ingress protection rating of IP43, which means that although it has a high level of protection against solids (dust and dirt particles), it doesn’t have enough protection against liquid ingress. The lantern’s housing can, at most, protect against water spray, but not the stronger splashes or jets.

So, where would be the best location for this? The good thing is that this fixture is suitable for a number of covered outdoor locations, such as porches, patios, and entrance walls.

Clear Glass Panels + Aluminium Build

What makes this lantern amazing is not the grandeur or the elegance it exudes, but actually the simplicity of it. It is just like any of your typical and “normal” light fixtures. You flip a switch (or get detected by the sensor), and it turns on.

But thanks to its different parts working together hand in hand, this wall light is able to become something more than a simple light. It’s made with an aluminium body that’s resistant to corrosion, rust, and tarnishing. It’s sturdy, durable, and reliable in making sure that the light is safe and protected.

The clear glass panels, too, all six of them, allow crisp light output that brightens everything around the fixture.

Mains-Powered 220-240V Convenience

This light is as simple as it goes. And that’s what makes this more beautiful. It operates on standard mains voltage (220-240V) with no specialised drivers or transformers required. That means that you can connect this directly to the mains circuit, and the installation is done.

You don’t have to worry about “getting lost” during the process as well, since it comes with a step-by-step guide on proper mounting and wire connections. Everything is very straightforward. This is like an electrician and a DIY enthusiast’s dream install.

Being mains-powered ensures that this lantern’s performance is high-quality and, more importantly, consistent. Other power sources can also be great and convenient, but nothing beats the reliability of being connected directly to the power grid.
