You can mount it in the bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, hallways, storage room, laundry room, garage, basement, bathroom (including zone 1), etc. Even if jets and splashes of water come into contact with this fitting, it will not short-circuit or malfunction.
The only thing that you need to avoid is underwater applications. You cannot submerge this LED downlight in a pool or pond because even if it’s IP65, it’s not adequate enough for that environment. If that’s what you want to do, look for a lighting fixture with a much higher IP rating.
