This LED downlight is also mains-powered, so you don’t have to buy a separate driver or transformer to make it run. You only need to plan the layout of the fixtures, trim the cut-out hole, wire directly to the mains circuit, and add the GU10 LED bulb that meets your requirements!
Works with a GU10 Bulb
This LED downlight can fit any GU10 bulb since it has a GU10 lamp holder. However, keep in mind that it’s a dimmable fitting! To utilise its dimming function, you must pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch!
The GU10 bulb is available in three LED colours: natural white, cool white and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are both perfect for task lighting. The only difference between the two colour temperatures is that cool white has a crisp bluish tone, while natural white light has no tints of yellow or blue. Alternatively, warm white light is ideal for ambient lighting since its yellowish shade can create serene and welcoming surroundings!
Insulation Coverable
You can loosely cover the rear of this downlight with insulation since it is insulation-coverable. However, this is only possible if you pair it with a GU10 LED lamp that has a maximum power of 7w. Not every downlight can permit you to do this, but insulation enables your home to dispel heat quickly. With it in your home, the warmth trapped inside will lessen, and your electrical consumption will decrease!
