You shouldn’t mount it in rooms constantly exposed to liquids (like the bathroom) because it doesn’t have sufficient protection against them. Jets and splashes of water may cause the strip lights in the profile to malfunction or short-circuit.
If you want to install this LED profile in your bathroom, guarantee that the strip light you pair with it is waterproof. Even if the profile is not water-resistant, it’s okay as long as the strip light has adequate protection against liquids. What you should not do is put an IP20 strip and IP20 profile together and install them inside your shower area. Both are non-waterproof, so your installation will not survive!
