When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.

Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.

Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.

Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.

Pro RGB LED Controller Kit With Remote Control
The box comes with one Pro RGB LED controller and one remote control. Wires are also included in the kit with easy-connect twist caps (female connector) on the end that connects with the power supply, and a male connector on the other end that connects to the decking lights.
The controller features light-changing functions (with 15 modes), colour switching mode (RGB and white light), and brightness/speed adjustment functions. The box also contains an instruction sheet with a connection diagram and a more detailed list of the 15 light-changing modes.
The Pro RGB LED controller is easy to connect and use. Simply align the nodes properly with the connecting wire, twist, and tighten the cap to ensure the cables are sealed and secured.
Compatible with 12v DC Decking Lights
The Pro RGB LED controller's working voltage is 12v DC. It wouldn’t work with AC voltage connections, so ensure you have the correct electric charge flow. Its 12v compatibility also means this RGB LED controller can be used with most decking lights with the same voltage rating. This controller will be a good fit for your outdoor lighting fixture, whether replacing an old LED controller or adding it to your current decking light system.
The remote controller’s working voltage is also 12v, and it uses 23A batteries that deliver 12v of power. The batteries are replaceable, and you can use any 23A batteries.
Never connect a higher or lower voltage rating to your light system to avoid electrical safety hazards. Always prioritise safety when installing lights.

IP67 Rated - Ideal for Outdoor Installations
The LED controller unit was made with quality materials and properly sealed to protect it from outdoor elements like heavy rain, dusty wind, and sudden temperature fluctuations. In other words, this controller is meant to be outside, enhancing your decking light experience.
Always consider high Ingress Protection (IP) ratings when looking for any electronic device or component you will use outdoors. The first number (6) indicates how much protection it has against solid elements like dust, while the second (7) indicates its protection against liquids. An IP67 electrical component like this Pro RGB LED controller can withstand even accidental submersion in shallow water.
Install your new Pro RGB Controller kit confidently, knowing it’s built to last.
216w Maximum Load
An LED controller’s maximum wattage load is the maximum number of watts it can support without running into problems like flickering, dimming, or total irreparable damage. This will determine how many decking lights you can connect to the LED controller.
The number of lights you can connect to a single connector will vary depending on the decking lights you're using. Some decking lights have low 2W power, while others have 5W power. The size of the deck lights can sometimes influence power ratings. A 5W deck light will usually be bigger than a 2W deck light.
This Pro RGB LED controller has a 216W maximum load and can connect more than 30 decking lights, depending on the rated wattage.

The Dimensions
This RGB LED controller has a compact build with a dimension of 130 x 80 x 55 mm, which makes installing it by screwing to the wall, beams, or posts easy and manageable. The compact build also allows easy installation in tight spaces, corners, and inconspicuous areas. It’s not bulky, so it does not stand out as a way to draw attention from the main “attractions”, the decking lights. You can hide it out of sight for a clean look with no problem.
The controller’s housing has pre-made clearance holes for the screws to go into and securely hold the device in place. Make sure to properly measure the area where you’re placing the controller to avoid having to redo your installation.
We also have an Eco RGB Controller Kit (72w Max Load)
If the 216w maximum load is more than you need, we have an alternative that's worth checking out. Our Eco RGB Controller Kit has a lower 72w maximum load. It's perfect for lighting systems on average-sized decking. Similar to the Pro, the Eco version is also suitable for outdoor installations (IP67-rated) and comes with a complete controller and remote set.
Whether you choose this Pro RGB controller kit or the Eco RGB controller kit, you can have confidence in your purchase because they're both backed by a solid 2-year guarantee. If anything goes wrong (manufacturing faults or defects), please don't hesitate to call or email us so we can assist you.
