Pack of 3 - Ultra-Thin Design (Only 18mm)

Let’s be real. Chandeliers are great, but only if you have very high ceilings and a spacious room. And coned pendant lights? A bit less bulky, but they’re primarily for kitchen and dining areas and aren’t really fantastic for general lighting, especially in spaces like your living room and bedroom.

So what do you do when you don’t have the vertical space? You go discreet. Enter: this bundle of three Discus LED Downlights. These downlights feature a super-slim design with a thickness of only 18mm. That means you can have multiple of these downlights in one room and it won’t feel too crowded—because you won’t even notice them much! Plus, they feature a stunning 120-degree beam angle, so you can illuminate large rooms with fewer installed fixtures.

Multiple Wattage Options: 10W, 15W, or 18W

This goes without saying, but the best way to save on energy costs from your lighting is by using lower-wattage (meaning, less power-hungry) lights. That usually spells dimmer lighting. If you want brighter lights, you would have to swap all your current fixtures with those that have higher lumens, which generally means higher wattage. That’s a hassle.

These downlights aren’t just efficient. They are also designed to have multiple wattage options, where you can switch between 10W, 15W, or 18W of power. Imagine easily switching to a wattage with a higher maximum brightness with just a single flick of a button, or switching down to a softer, less aggressive light. Now you can! Each power option will have a different maximum lumen output: 950, 1350, or 1500, respectively.

4000K, Natural White Colour Temperature

These slim downlights are designed for task lighting. Task lights require crisp, bright illumination to enhance visibility, productivity, and efficiency. That’s why a natural white colour temperature at 4000K is perfect for the role.

When selecting light fixtures for a particular space, always ensure that you first determine the space’s intended function. Is it going to be for relaxation? Is it going to have a lot of activity? Are people going to be here often? These are just some questions you need answered before getting your lights. They should help you determine which colour temperature to get!

These lights also make colours pop, having a colour rendering index (CRI) of Ra > 80. What that means for you is greater visibility and clear details (no washed-out colours).

Designed for Wall or Ceiling Use – Includes a Pre-Wired 30cm Cable

It’s true that lights are best installed on ceilings for maximum utilisation and to avoid glare. However, if for some reason you needed to install your lights on the walls, these downlights are perfect for both wall and ceiling use! They feature special mounting brackets that allow for both surface and semi-recessed mounting, ensuring you always have an option.

And if connecting wires to fixtures is not your cup of tea, don’t worry. Each of the downlights in this pack is pre-wired with a 30cm cable, so all you have to do is connect them to the power supply. They’re mains-wireable as well, so there’s no need for LED drivers.

Did you know? How your light fixture looks during the day is also very important to take note of? At night, you might not pay too much attention to the fixture as a whole due to the bright lights. But during the day when the fixture itself is completely visible and no light is covering it, how it looks can affect the “vibe” of your space. A light fixture can be a great source of light at night but an eyesore during the day. You don’t want that.

Also, just because they’re discreet lighting fixtures doesn’t mean they don’t need to look good. Quite the opposite! The downlight’s clean, modern white finish allows it to blend well with the interior, even expertly camouflaging on white ceilings.

Sturdy Design for Indoor Environments – IK04 / IP20 Rated

The long lifespan of LEDs don’t mean a thing if it doesn’t have an enclosure or housing that can protect it from outside harmful elements (well, harmful against electronics, that is).

The good news? These downlights are made to last long. Each light has been tested and rated with an IK04 impact resistance rating, meaning that impacts from short falls won’t damage the fixtures—but we suggest you don’t drop them if you can. That would be the most foolproof way to preserve your light’s integrity. Though, it only has an IP rating of IP20, so it’s only best used indoors.

Also, only get your lights from reputable suppliers. This pack of downlights comes with a 3-year warranty, so you can use them to the fullest with peace of mind.
