We have its adjustable mounting brackets to thank for that. Just make sure that you properly plan out the layout before mounting these lights. We will not be held accountable for poor planning.

And speaking of planning, thinking of retrofitting your old recessed downlights? These lights will be an excellent choice for that. Did you know that LED lights can last a very long time? These LED downlights, in particular, have a life expectancy of 25,000 hours. That’s around 8.5 years if you use the light for 8 hours every day. But of course, this does not take into account external factors that could lower this life expectancy, or even potentially snuff it completely.

So, how do you ensure that your LEDs last a long time? By making sure the housing that protects its components is long-lasting, too. That’s why these lights are made with aluminium and rated with an IK04 impact resistance. They’re also rated with an IP20 ingress protection, making them the perfect indoor lights.

Tired of LEDs that need extra parts for them to work? Us too. That’s why these Discus LED downlights are mains-powered (230V), meaning they can be directly wired and connected to the mains circuit to power up. There’s no need to have a transformer or an LED driver to regulate the power before it can be turned on. Simply slap their pre-wired 30cm cable into a mains connection through a light or dimmer switch for them to work.

Once connected, you can then safely set the fixture in place using its spring-loaded clips and enjoy its beautiful white finish and brilliant glow. These lights can complement any interior design, so you can install them anywhere and everywhere you like. Can we tell you a secret? This pack of Discus LED downlights does not achieve its energy efficiency through their dimmability alone. No sir. You’d be shocked to know that despite the high 1450 lumens of maximum brightness it can produce, these downlights only use 18W of power to achieve that. That’s an efficacy of 80.56 lumens per watt! Those halogen and fluorescent lamps could only wish to be able to do that.
