Motion-Activated Lighting for Efficiency

If you don’t have motion sensor lights yet, then you’re missing out. Light fixtures like this LED bulkhead light with (Passive Infrared) PIR sensor are a highly sought-after lighting in commercial and industrial areas.

Why? Well, there are a number of reasons. One of the biggest reasons is the power-saving characteristic. Picture this: the integrated PIR sensor only triggers light when movement is detected. Compared to always-on security lights, this saves power by only turning on the lights when they’re needed.

Another reason would be security. Motion-sensitive lights will always turn on when they detect movement. And nothing is more deterrent to burglars and trespassers than a bright light that suddenly switches on, revealing their presence. Pair this light with a security camera, and no one would dare break in.

Cool White Tone for Clear Visibility

What’s not to love about this bulkhead light?

It has a wide beam angle of 110 degrees and is paired with a high lumen output of 900. This means that, since the light has a wide range and has a stunning brightness, you don’t need to install a lot of lights. This not only saves you on the cost of getting the fixture but also on the cost of running them.

When you’re lighting for security, you need to have high-visibility lights. That’s why this LED bulkhead light provides a 6,000K cool white light, which is perfect for enhancing a space’s visibility, which in turn improves safety and security. Got some dark or gloomy utility and pathway areas? Brighten them up with this LED bulkhead light.

Durable Polycarbonate & Anti-Corrosive Build

Rugged materials withstand damp conditions and resist corrosion, ideal for outdoor and internal areas.

If you’re looking for lighting fixtures that will not fail you, then maybe you should start with this LED bulkhead light. This fixture is made from polycarbonate, making it durable and impact-resistant.

You can’t always be sure about the condition your lights are going to be in, especially if they’re put in high-traffic areas or outdoors. So, having a tamper-proof casing for your lights can give you a little peace of mind.

The LED bulkhead light also has anti-corrosive qualities, making it resistant to, you guessed it, corrosion. But why is this an important feature? That’s because if you’re installing this outside, being able to withstand the harsh environment is crucial if you want your lights to last long.

Adjustable Sensor Settings & Override Options

What’s a good light if you cannot fully customise it? It’s a good thing, then, that this LED bulkhead light has a customisable detection angle, range, and set manual override modes.

The PIR has a default 110-degree angle, which is perfect for maximum motion detection: wherever the light hits, it can detect movement as well. The range can be adjusted up to 12 metres as well, perfect for large areas like warehouses, loading docks, and parking garages.

And if, for some reason, you don’t want the motion-detection, you can easily override its mode and cycle through On / Off / Auto lighting. The Auto option has the PIR motion detection active. When the sensor detects motion, it automatically turns on the light for up to four minutes before it automatically turns it off without detecting any more movement. The On and Off are pretty self-explanatory.

Easy Installation & Standard Power Supply

Are you more of a “simple installation lights” kind of person? Then worry not! This LED bulkhead light might be full of amazing features, but that doesn’t mean that installation will be too much work (or complicated).

This LED bulkhead light is mains-powered (220-240V), so you can directly (and simply) connect it to your mains circuit, and it’s good to go. That means you don’t need to get some exotic LED drivers just to have some good lighting. Installation is simple and straightforward.

Being mains-powered also means that you get reliable and consistent lighting, since you won’t need to worry about batteries dying out or drivers getting busted. Just make sure to get a certified electrician if you’re not qualified to work with electrical wires.

Weather-Protected IP44 Rating

Do you know why it’s important to check the Ingress Protection (IP) levels of your lights before buying? And especially if you’re planning on installing outdoor lights?

The IP rating of your lights indicates the level of protection they offer against harsh outdoor conditions, specifically solid and liquid ingress. Here’s how it works: The first number indicates the solids protection level (max is 6). The second number indicates the liquid protection level (max is 8).

So, when your LED bulkhead light has an IP44 rating, what does that mean? Well, it means that it is protected against sprays and solid objects >1 mm, making it suitable for sheltered outdoor locations.
