When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.

Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.

Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.

Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.

Eco RGB LED Controller Kit With Remote Control
Level up your outdoor experience by upgrading your stale decking lights with this simple yet powerful Eco RGB LED controller kit. This particular kit comes with a remote control and a carefully designed LED controller for use in any new decking light setup or as a replacement part for your old outdoor lighting. You need to pair this kit with RGB deck lights, so double-check your system before purchasing.
Both ends of the controller feature easy-connect connectors that can link to your current setup. The LED controller also comes with 16 pre-programmed colours you can cycle through depending on the mood you want to set and 4 modes you can choose from (flash, strobe, fade, smooth). The remote control also features one-button dimming for all colours and separate buttons for brightness up and brightness down.
Compatible with 12v DC Decking Lights
Whether you’re replacing an old controller, adding a controller to a current controller-less setup, or setting up new outdoor lighting, as long as you’re using 12v decking lights, this Eco RGB LED Controller will fit right into your outdoor lighting system.
Most low-voltage outdoor lights are rated 12v and 24v. If you’re getting 24v decking light fixtures, make sure that you’re also using the same 24v rating for your controllers and power supplies. Using an LED controller with the wrong voltage rating (e.g., a 12v controller to a 24v system) can damage the LED lights or the controller itself (overheating, burnout, or premature failure). So always ensure that you have the right matching voltage rating for your lights and controller.

72w Maximum Load
The maximum load capacity of an LED controller indicates the maximum electrical load (usually measured in watts or amperes) that it can handle safely and efficiently without the risk of damage, malfunction, or electrical failure. This also determines the number of decking lights that can safely connect to the controller. Overloading (connecting more power than it can handle) can cause heat buildup, causing overheating and failure.
The Eco RGB LED Controller has a maximum load of 72w, so if you’re using 2w deck lights, you can connect at least 30 without damaging your lighting setup. Also, ensure you use a power supply with a 10% to 20% safety margin for your setup to account for sudden power surges.
IP67 Rated - Perfect for Outdoor Applications
Ingress Protection (IP) indicates the level of protection of any electrical device against dust and liquid. The rating starts with “IP” and is then followed by two numbers. The first number indicates the level of protection against solid contaminants, and the highest rating for solid protection is “6”. The second number indicates the level of protection against liquids, and the highest rating number for this is “8”.
This Eco RGB LED controller is designed to withstand the elements of the outdoors. It has a high rating of IP67, meaning it has the highest protection against dust and other solid objects and a very high protection against rain, mildew, and garden waters. Having a 7 rating against water means the controller can even be submerged under shallow waters for a short period of time without any problem.

The Dimensions
Setting up your outdoor decking lights can be a pain, especially if they have bulky components and you only have a little room to work with. You can end up having parts that aren’t “balanced”, especially on the controller and power supply end of your lighting setup. It’s true, bulky controllers are an eyesore and a designer’s nightmare. Having a clean setup can be challenging when you constantly need to find hiding spots for these bulky elements.
It’s a good thing that the Eco RGB LED controller has a small 50mm x 35mm build with a depth of 25mm that can easily be hidden behind corners, posts, or other outdoor ornaments. Even when exposed, the small controller and its black colour do not stand out (it’s not an eyesore).
We also have a Pro RGB Controller Kit (216w Max Load)
Is the 72w max load not enough for the lighting project you have in mind? If that's the case, you can go up to a 216w maximum load with our Pro RGB Controller Kit. Say you have a massive outdoor space that you want to adorn with colourful deck lights. This controller can get you there.
Like the Eco RGB Controller Kit, this is also equipped with an IP67 rating. In addition, both controllers are covered by a reliable 2-year warranty. If you encounter any manufacturing defects or problems, that's on us; we've got your back. So, please don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email. We would gladly assist you however we can.
