It has a twist and lock mechanism (allowing you to do fast bulb changes) and push-fit terminal blocks for effortless loop-in/out (no need for screws). With this, you can wire each downlight in series instead of individually connecting them to the primary power supply!
It’s also mains powered, so you don’t need to buy an individual driver or transformer to make it work. All you have to do is plan the placement of the downlight, trim the cut-out hole, wire it directly to the mains circuit, and add a bulb you like. That’s pretty much it!
Works with a GU10 Bulb
Because this LED downlight is constructed with a GU10 lamp holder, you can pair it with any GU10 bulb. However, since it's a dimmable fixture, using it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch will enable you to utilise its dimming function!
As for the GU10 bulb, you can get it in cool white, natural white and warm white LED colours. Cool white and natural white are both ideal for task lighting. The only difference between the two colour temperatures is that cool white has a crisp bluish tone, whereas natural white has no hints of blue or yellow. Insulation Coverable

This LED downlight is insulation-coverable, so putting loft insulation loosely over its rear is okay. However, you can only do this if you use it with a GU10 LED lamp with a maximum power of 7w. Many cheaper downlights cannot offer this, but it is a critical feature for your lights to have since the insulation will enable your home to eject heat quickly.
