Choose your acoustic panel lighting kit

Choose the number of separate lines of light you want on your wall, then decide whether you need remote control. Every light in this range is warm white at 2700K. The multi-light kits contain separate 2.4m lengths, not one continuous strip.

Driver kits include a suitable power supply for the supplied lights. Choose a kit labelled “Driver & Remote” if you want the remote included. Plan cable routes and any additional installation materials for your own wall before ordering.

Will these slat wall lights fit your panels?

Each light measures 13.8mm wide × 8.2mm high and is supplied as a 2.4m length. Measure the clear width and depth of your panel grooves, allowing space for the light and its cable route. Panel dimensions vary, so compatibility depends on the measurements of your panels rather than the brand name.

The matte black housing blends into dark panel gaps when switched off. Its diffused LED neon gives an even line of light without visible LED dots, making it useful for acoustic wall panels and other decorative slatted walls with suitable gaps.

Warm white lighting for indoor feature walls

Use these acoustic panel lights to add a soft 2700K glow to a media wall, headboard, hallway or living-room feature. All current options have the same warm white colour temperature; they do not change colour.

Each full 2.4m light produces 164 lumens, with a CRI above 90. This is decorative ambient lighting, so plan separate lighting for reading, working and general room illumination.

Power, wiring and cutting to length

24V power and kit wattage

Each full 2.4m light uses 26.4W. The total light load is 26.4W for one light, 52.8W for two, 79.2W for three or 105.6W for four. These are the light loads, not the rated capacities of the included drivers.

A driver is included in each kit. If you buy the light on its own, choose a compatible 24V LED driver sized for the total load, following the driver's loading guidance. Check the capacity before adding more lights to an existing installation.

Wiring and cable planning

Each light has a 1m lead ending in bare red and black wires. This is a wired installation: connect to the correct 24V DC output, following the supplied instructions and polarity markings. Use a qualified electrician for mains wiring and keep the driver dry and accessible. Plan any extra low-voltage cable around the position of your lights and driver.

Cutting and the IP67 rating

The neon is IP67 rated when uncut, but this range is designed for indoor slat wall lighting. The drivers included in the kits are IP20. The neon's rating does not make the complete installation suitable for outdoors.

Lights are supplied at their full 2.4m length and can be shortened at the marked 50mm cutting points. Switch off and isolate the power before cutting, measure carefully and follow the supplied instructions. Cutting opens the sealed end, so the original IP67 protection no longer applies at that cut. Do not assume an off-cut can simply be plugged back in.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in an acoustic slat wall lighting kit?

Choose one, two, three or four separate 2.4m LED neon lights with a suitable 24V DC driver. Kits labelled Driver & Remote also include a remote control. The standalone 2.4m light does not include a driver or remote. Each light has a 1m bare-wire lead; additional cable and installation materials depend on your layout.

Will these lights fit my acoustic wall panels?

Each light is 13.8mm wide × 8.2mm high. Measure the clear width and depth of the grooves in your panels and allow for the cable route before ordering. Panel dimensions vary, so we cannot guarantee fit based on brand alone.

What colour are the acoustic panel lights?

All lights in the current range are warm white at 2700K. They produce a soft, diffused glow for indoor feature walls. They do not change colour.

Can I cut the slat wall lights to length?

Yes. Each light is supplied as a full 2.4m length and can be shortened at the marked 50mm cutting points. Isolate the power first and follow the supplied instructions. Cutting opens the sealed end and removes the original IP67 protection at that cut.

Do acoustic panel lights need a driver?

Yes. These lights run on 24V DC and need a compatible LED driver. A suitable driver is included in every kit, but is purchased separately for the standalone light. Each full 2.4m light uses 26.4W; size a separately purchased driver for the total load and follow its loading guidance.

Are these lights plug and play?

No. Each light has a 1m lead with bare red and black wires for connection to the correct low-voltage output. Follow the supplied wiring instructions and use a qualified electrician for mains connections.

Can I use the IP67 neon outdoors?

This range is designed for indoor acoustic slat wall installations. The uncut neon is IP67, but the drivers included in the kits are IP20 and must stay dry. The neon's rating does not make the whole kit suitable for outdoor use.

Can I use these lights on a media wall?

Yes, where the slat grooves accommodate the 13.8mm × 8.2mm light and its cable route. The warm 2700K glow suits decorative lines beside a television or across a panelled feature. Plan separate lighting for reading and general room use.
