Choose your strip, colour and length
Compare the four strip families above by watts per metre, light output and IP rating. Each family is available in warm white, natural white and cool white. The colour options remain available on the product page, alongside the full specification and length controls.
Use Buy by the metre for one continuous whole-metre length, or Cut to my exact size to enter separate pieces for your project. The current Lighteez strips use 50mm cutting increments. The calculator shows the cut point and maximum permitted length for the selected strip.
Prepared for furniture and joinery
The fitted lead removes the need to solder the driver connection yourself. Plan each cupboard, shelf or display run as its own piece, then position the driver within reach of the cables. This works for a DIY wardrobe project, a cabinet maker's fitted kitchen or illuminated display furniture built for an exhibition.
For a rigid aluminium fitting with LEDs already installed, see Lighteez illuminated profiles. For other strip types and wider lighting applications, browse the main LED strip lights range.
Pick the right driver for all your pieces
Multiply each piece's length by its watts per metre, then add the loads together. Each separately powered piece needs a light output. A Lighteez output supports up to 3A, equivalent to 72W at 24V; the product controls limit the length accordingly. Use the Lighteez kit builder to plan the lights across one or more furniture drivers.
The 2m lead is included in the strip price; drivers and optional sensors are sold separately. Dupont extensions add cable reach without taking another light output.
Where should I use IP20 or IP67 strip?
IP20 strip is for dry indoor locations. An IP67 rating applies to the strip, not automatically to the assembled system. Cut ends and connections need suitable sealing where exposure requires it, and the driver needs a suitable dry location.
DIY strip lighting without soldering the driver connection
Measure the shelves or cupboard runs and order the pieces you need. We supply each separate piece with its fitted 2m lead, so you can connect it to a compatible Lighteez driver yourself. Plan the plug-in driver near an existing suitable socket and route the cables before fitting the furniture.
Plan the whole project
Bring your lights, drivers and optional controls together in one lighting kit.
