This rotary dimmer supports both leading edge and trailing edge dimming methods. This gives you the flexibility so that whether you have LED or traditional lighting installed, you can achieve smooth, stable dimming.
By default, the dimmer is set to trailing edge mode. This is the better option when installing dimmable LED lamps because it reduces stress on the LED driver, offers silent operation (no buzzing or humming), and accommodates the low-wattage requirements of LEDs. This results in a significantly smoother, flicker-free dimming experience.
The dimmer can also be programmed to leading edge mode when required. This mode is best for dimming traditional lighting, such as halogen and incandescent lamps.
Finally, the minimum brightness can also be adjusted to accommodate different types of lighting fixtures.

You can control the lights within the same circuit from two separate locations since this rotary dimmer supports two-way switching. This arrangement is particularly useful in spaces where relying on a single control point would be inconvenient.
This means you can adjust the lights from the bottom landing and then at the top landing right after you go up the stairs. The same is true for hallways when you fix the dimmers on both ends.
