This LED downlight is fire-rated for 90 minutes of protection, meaning the hole you cut to mount it is resealed, and your ceiling is reinforced to delay fire spread. It's also suitable for solid joists and I-joists, giving your home full fire protection.
When you cut a hole in your ceiling, its natural ability to fend off fire weakens. Even if you fill it up with a light fixture, it cannot fully seal off the gap unless it's fire-rated. Suits a GU10 Bulb; Insulation Coverable with a 7W LED Lamp
This LED downlight has a GU10 lamp holder, so you can use any GU10 bulb. However, since it's a dimmable fixture, pair it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch (such as our LED Dimmer Module, Two Way 0–150W, or an LED Dimmer, Two Way 0–150W) to use the dimming feature. Also, when paired with a 7W LED lamp, you can use insulation with it.
As for the GU10 bulb, you can get it in cool white, natural white, and warm white. Cool white and natural white light are both suitable for task lighting. The only difference between the two is that cool white has a crisp bluish tone, while natural white has no shades of blue or yellow. On the flip side, warm white light is perfect for ambient lighting because its yellowish tint can create a relaxing environment!

The Dimensions

This LED downlight is 112mm tall, has an 85mm diameter, and requires a 65-75mm cut-out hole. Follow these measurements precisely, and you’ll have nothing to worry about!
