Recti LED Cabinet Light 5w Power
Product Description

By far our best selling cabinet light, our recti, 5w LED cabinet light is brilliant in any kitchen, its only 4mm deep and our top selling LED Cabinet light.

Installation is very simple, as standard this comes with a 1.5m long straight forward plug and play connector. This plugs directly into the led driver (sold seperately).

Being rated at just 5w power, it boasts a huge 350 lumens in a natural white led colour.

To assist with installation, each light comes with a 1.5m long power cable and they must be wired in parallel to the LED Driver (See further down for info).

The cable comes out the rear of the light fitting, from around the middle.

It sits within a groove until you get to the back of the cabinet light where the cable is then revealed. Therefore the cable can either come directly out of the rear and go straight through a small hole in the cabinet, hiding the cable completely or if you prefer you can take the cable out of the back and feed through the cabinet.

We offer a whole range of ways to control and operate your LED cabinet lights.

  • The Basic Set Up - Switches the lights on and off, using a light switch or plug socket.
  • Remote Dimming - Using our unique remote control, you can dim the brightness from 1-100% and turn the cabinet lights on & off. You can view this product by clicking here.
  • Sensors - We offer a large range of door sensors and Infra-Red sensors. Using the door sensors you open the door and the lights switch on and close the door and they switch off. With hand movement sensors you swipe your hand to turn on and swipe to turn off. You can find our selection by clicking here.
  • Mains Dimming – When you want to control your lighting on a traditional wall dimmer. You would need to install a dimmable LED Driver & a compatible wall dimmer. Please find our Dimmable led driver by clicking here and our range of wall dimmers by clicking here (Please note: The dimmable led driver has a minimum load of 3 watts to operate correctly).

5 Square slim rectangle LED have been fitted in my new kitchen, wired to a single mains switch. Can I dim them with a dimmer switch?

Is the cable connected inside the fitting and hidden, or is it plugged into the fitting at the back and visible?

These lights look fabulous, but I am concerned by your answer that I would have to drill a hole in the base of each cabinet to run the cable through in order to hide the connection. The a) ruins the cabinet and b) is aesthetically displeasing inside the cabinet, am I right?

Hi. Can these be fixed over cabinet lighting the front of the unit as well as under and is the power cable integral?

Please, can I install a switch lower down as I intend to connect to a power socket (which is higher up)?

In your reply about dimming you said one needs a dimmable LED driver but also a LED dimmer. Would you please explain further, are these two separate things and how are they used in relation to each other?

Hi reading the FAQ you cleared up the question re. cable entry in the center of the back but could lose the cable behind the fitting, as the fitting is only 4mm thick not much room for a void! I am looking at installing the transformer on top of the 900mm kitchen cabinets pulling the supplied cables on the fitting up, so can i fit the end of the fitting against the wall with the cable coming out the end to rise up with no drilling is that possible. Regards Paul.

Hi there I have no idea about these things do you drill a hole in your kitchen cabinet and the wire would be visible inside the cabinet ? I need 4 lights all spread out how do I go about this ? Please answer as simple as possible as I have no clue ha haha sorry and thank you

What transformer/driver will I need and how much are they

Can these be run in series connected to each other or only in parallel with a suitable driver? What length of cable are they supplied with? Can cables be run out of either side of the unit? ~Thanks, Peter
