Set of 6, Sky Effect LED Panel Lights - Skylight

Sky Effect Cloud Print - How the Backlit Design Works

Each panel features a printed cloud-and-blue-sky design on the diffuser surface. The LED sits behind the diffuser, illuminating the print evenly across the panel face. This backlit construction creates depth within the image, producing a realistic skylight-style appearance when installed in a ceiling grid.

This effect is designed for spaces with limited or no natural light. Typical applications include open-plan offices, schools, healthcare wards, retail showrooms, and windowless meeting rooms. For more options, view the full range of LED panel lights.

12,000 Lumens Total - 40W per Panel

Each panel operates at 40W and delivers 2,000 lumens. Across the full set of six panels, this provides a combined output of 12,000 lumens with a total power draw of 240W. The panels run on a standard 220-240V input and are rated for a 25,000-hour lifespan.

This output level supports large commercial areas while maintaining controlled energy use per panel. Compared with fluorescent grid panels and other traditional alternatives, LED panels reduce energy waste through more efficient and consistent light output.

Flicker-Free Driver Included - Dimmable Option Available

Each panel is supplied with a non-dimmable, flicker-free LED driver, allowing immediate installation. Flicker-free lighting is well-suited to environments with prolonged use, such as offices and educational settings, where consistent light output is required.

Dimming is not included as standard, but the panels can be made dimmable by replacing the supplied driver with a compatible dimmable LED driver (sold separately).

Panel Dimensions and Ceiling Compatibility

Each panel measures 595 x 505 mm. The set has 6 panels. Coverage for marketplace listing is 1785 x 1785 mm; actual coverage varies because the panels can be laid out differently in the ceiling. Installation requires a suspended ceiling grid and is not suitable for direct surface or flush mounting.

The construction includes an aluminium frame with an iron base for structural support. A PC diffuser ensures even light distribution across the panel surface, maintaining uniform output without visible hotspots.

3-Year Warranty and Where to Use These Panels

The sky design of the LED panel lights introduces a visual reference to daylight in enclosed environments, helping reduce the sense of confinement often associated with windowless spaces. In commercial settings where occupants spend extended periods under artificial lighting, this can support visual comfort.

This six-panel set is supplied with a 3-year warranty, supporting long-term commercial use. Suitable applications include offices, schools, healthcare environments, retail spaces, and showrooms, as well as any commercial setting with suspended ceiling systems. Simple Lighting is rated with over 14,000 five-star reviews across Google, Trustpilot, and Reviews.io, reflecting consistent service and product reliability across its range.
