Step 1 of 4
How many stairs?
Count the steps on your staircase from bottom to top. If you have a turn (winder), count each tread including the turn steps.
Range: 4–64 steps
Step 2 of 4
Which bar length?
The bar sits along each step. Choose 500mm for standard stair widths, 1000mm for wider treads or to wrap around a landing.
Measure the width of a step (the tread) from one side to the other. If it is under 900mm, the 500mm bar centres neatly with a small margin each side. For wider treads, open-plan stairs or a landing you want to wrap, the 1000mm bar gives fuller coverage. Both bars are cuttable, so a slightly long bar can be trimmed to fit.

Your recommended driver
The driver converts mains power to the 24V DC the LED bars run on. We auto-select the smallest in-stock driver with at least 15% headroom for your kit's load.
