How to Choose your Colour Temperature?

These lights are available in 3 stunning LED colours, but how do you choose the colour for you? Let us guide you through the options;

1. Day Light – Think of a cloudless sunny day outside, this is about the brightness of ‘Day Light’ LED light. Registering on the cooler range of the spectrum, it makes good task lighting as it is bright, without being clinical. Ideal for large modern kitchens.

2. Warm White – This is the closest you’ll get to an old incandescent 60w bulb, and a popular choice with customers who like a light that’s easier on the eyes. It makes great accent lighting and creates a cosy atmosphere. Perfect for rustic country kitchens.

3. Cool White – A super bright LED light that is excellent for providing maximum illumination, especially in commercial kitchens.

  • Lumens 140lm A measure to the brightness of a LED Light. Example being 320 lumens would be the equivalent in brightness to a old fashioned 50w Halogen spot light.
  • Lamp Base Integrated LED Indicates the size of the electrical connection at the bottom of the light source. Such as screw or bayonet etc. If you are confused with what you require please feel free to contact us for us.
  • Wattage 1.5W The total electrical power used of the light. A higher wattage no longer guarantee’s that the light is brighter. EG: there are LED products which are 5w which is equal in brightness to a 50w incandescent bulb.
  • CRI >80 Stands for colour rendering index. This is a measure of the ability of the light source to reproduce colours of different objects positively comparing with an ideal or a natural light source.
