Look for the statement "insulation coverable" before doing anything. While some downlights are insulation coverable, you cannot assume that all lighting fixtures are the same.
This LED downlight is insulation coverable. However, there is a catch! You can only put insulation over your downlights if you couple it with a GU10 LED bulb that does not go beyond a maximum of 7w of power. If you select an LED bulb with a higher lumens count (given that it's still within the capacity of the downlight), you cannot put insulation over your lights.

This LED downlight comes with a non-dimmable GU10 LED bulb. This bulb only requires 4.5w of power to produce a 400 lumens maximum brightness with a wide 110-degree beam angle. So, even if your lights are working for more than hours as you finish all your tasks, it will not make your electricity bill climb higher than what you expect!
Besides that, the GU10 LED bulb that you’ll get with this LED bulb has a natural white light colour temperature.
