DMX512 Master and RF 2.4G Remote in One Panel

This wall-mounted touch panel offers two practical ways to control single-colour LED lighting from a single central point. As a DMX512 master, it sends a standard DMX control signal to compatible DMX decoders installed within the same system. The panel provides 4 DMX channels, each assigned to a zone for fast, easy control.

The panel can also serve as an RF 2.4G remote. This allows each zone to communicate wirelessly with compatible RF 2.4G LED receivers. With this, you can remotely adjust your lighting setup without needing to wire to the panel. This is ideal when a wireless control connection is more practical for the installation.

With the two options, you don’t need to purchase different panels, keeping both procurement and setup simple.

Four-Zone Control with Scene Recall

The four-zone control makes it easier to manage multiple single-colour lighting circuits from a single wall-mounted interface. You can adjust each zone independently, giving you separate control over different sections of a room or different rooms, depending on your preferred zoning.

When the same brightness setting is needed throughout the space, all four zones can also be controlled simultaneously. This avoids the inconvenience of operating several separate controllers. Consequently, this also keeps lighting adjustments in a single accessible location.

Another layer of convenience is the scene recall feature. Preferred lighting settings that are used regularly can be saved for “recall” later using the scene keys. This means there is no need to recreate the same brightness combination each time. Up to four scenes can be saved in the wall panel.

Single-Colour Dimming from a Glass Touch Ring

No more relying on conventional buttons or rotary controls, thanks to the glass touch ring of this wall-mounted panel. It provides precise control over single-colour LED brightness with dimming adjustable across 256 levels from 0 to 100%. This means smooth dimming to your preference rather than being limited to a small number of preset brightness levels.

The high-strength glass panel features ultra-sensitive touch keys for responsive control, while the integrated LED indicator provides clear visual feedback every time you use the panel.

A chord prompt tone also confirms each touch, helping users know that an input has been registered without needing to check the connected lighting. This feature can be switched off if a quieter operation is preferred.

Pairs With Our DMX Decoders

This touch panel serves as the controller of a DMX lighting system and sends instructions rather than powering the connected LED load directly. This means that a compatible DMX decoder is required at the output to receive the lighting control signal.

Our DMX decoder range includes units that can be paired with the panel. This allows you to select the appropriate output equipment for the LED that needs to be controlled. The panel also follows the standard DMX512 protocol, so if there’s already an existing DMX512 decoder, you can easily pair them.

Note that when used in RF mode, the setup operates differently, with the panel communicating wirelessly with compatible 2.4G RF receivers instead.

Mains-Powered Wall Installation

You can connect the panel directly to a 100-240V AC mains supply, so there’s no need for a separate low-voltage power supply. The setup is pretty straightforward, with fewer components to worry about during installation, but the wiring should be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK electrical regulations.

It’s worth noting that the panel is designed solely to serve as the dedicated interface for the lighting control system, not as a power source for the connected LEDs.

Designed for a standard European wall box, the panel installs in the familiar position of a conventional light switch, so there’s no need to make additional cut-out holes, especially when retrofitting. This also means that the lighting control remains in an easy-to-reach location.

Additionally, it comes in a white finish, which complements most modern interior designs.

Built to Last, with a 5-Year Warranty

The panel has an IP20 rating and is suitable for installation in dry interior locations. It can also operate across a temperature range of -30°C to +55°C, so you can use this in a wide range of indoor environments.

The panel has received CE, RoHS, and RED approvals and complies with relevant standards, including EN 62368-1, ETSI EN 301 489, and ETSI EN 300 328. This should give you documented assurance on product safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and radio performance (for the 2.4 GHz band).

It’s also covered by a 5-year warranty, which demonstrates confidence in the panel’s quality. Simple Lighting also has more than 14,000 five-star reviews across Google, Trustpilot, and Reviews.io, for added reassurance of the supplier’s credibility.
