DMX512 Master and RF 2.4G Remote in One Panel
The panel features two different control methods you can use, depending on your current lighting setup. First, it serves as a DMX512 master, sending standard DMX signals to compatible decoders on the same DMX line. This type of control method requires a wired connection between the panel and the decoders.
For wireless connectivity, the panel can also operate as a 2.4G RF remote. This means the setup requires compatible 2.4G RF LED receivers to receive and relay the commands/input from the panel to the connected LED lights. With this setup, there’s no need to wire the wall panel and the receivers, making installation straightforward. This is perfect for installations where adding additional signal cables would be difficult or disruptive.
Four-Zone Control with Scene Recall
Four independently controllable zones can be set up using a single wall panel. This gives you a practical way to manage several RGB lighting circuits. Each zone can be adjusted separately when different parts of a room need their own colour settings. But when consistent lighting is needed throughout the space, the zones can be controlled as a single unit rather than adjusted individually.
The scene recall function is useful for adding convenience to your everyday lighting. Preferred lighting combinations can be saved as “scenes” for one-touch lighting adjustment. This means that you don’t need to manually rebuild your preferred colour arrangements for specific tasks or occasions every time you need them.
Up to four scenes can be saved on the panel.
Smooth, Accurate RGB Colour Mixing
The entire touch panel face is made of high-strength glass, with a colour wheel that provides direct control over RGB colour mixing. Thanks to its ultra-sensitive surface, you can change the lights' colours smoothly across the full spectrum.
Having the colour wheel also means you're not limited to fixed colour presets, so you can fine-tune your light's colours to your preference. What's more, the adjustment is divided into 256 levels across a 0% to 100% range, so the transition from one colour to another appears smooth and gradual rather than abrupt. This is a practical feature that is especially useful in decorative, architectural, and display lighting.
An LED indicator and a chord prompt tone provide clear feedback when making changes on the panel. You can switch the tone off if you prefer a quieter operation.
Pairs With Our DMX Decoders for RGB
This panel serves as the control end of an RGB lighting system, sending instructions based on inputs from the touch surface. This means that if used in a DMX installation, it needs to be paired with a suitable decoder that receives the control signal and drives the connected lighting.
Our RGB-capable DMX decoders are the natural match for this controller. The RGB channels in the decoder can be used to drive RGB lighting from wall control to the connected LEDs. The panel also works with any standard DMX512 decoder, so it can be used with any decoders already existing in the setup.
On the other hand, when used in RF mode, the panel operates differently, communicating with compatible RF 2.4G receivers instead. This gives you wireless control over your lighting.
Mains-Powered Wall Installation
A direct connection to the mains circuit (100-240V AC) is required to operate this panel, so installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician to ensure it is connected safely and correctly. Of course, this is also to comply with applicable UK wiring regulations. Since there’s no need for additional power supplies or drivers, installation is kept clean and straightforward.
Not only that, but the panel also fits a standard European wall box, meaning you can install it in a position similar to a conventional light switch. There’s no need for specialised cut-out holes.
The installation is then secured and permanent, eliminating the need for a loose handheld controller. For a clean flush finish, the standard EU square face plate format is ideal.
Built to Last, with a 5-Year Warranty
The panel can operate at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +55°C, provided it's in a dry indoor location, as it comes with an IP20 protection rating. This gives you the flexibility and a broad range of indoor applications.
It is also CE, RoHS, and RED approved, complying with electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, and radio performance standards. Specifically, they're covered within EN 62368-1, ETSI EN 301 489, and ETSI EN 300 328.
An extended 5-year warranty is included when you buy this panel. This is then backed by more than 14,000 5-star reviews from trusted platforms such as Google, Trustpilot, and Reviews.io to provide reassurance over the panel's quality and overall performance.
