Choose from Polished Chrome, Brushed Chrome or White Finish

This LED downlight is available in three finishes, including polished chrome, brushed chrome and white. Each has a distinct look, but nonetheless, they can match any design scheme, whether it’s traditional, modern, rustic, or something in between!

If you love to constantly restyle your home, choosing a lighting fixture that looks simple will give you more freedom and flexibility. Remember, ceiling lights are installed high up and changing them is not as easy as swapping out floor lamps and table lamps. So, if you want to go all out when you change your interior design, opt for customised table and floor lamps to add character to the room, and use this LED downlight as a neutral base!

Works with a GU10 Bulb

You can use this LED downlight with any GU10 lamp, as it's designed with a GU10 lamp holder. Although, you should consider pairing it with a dimmable GU10 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch since it's a dimmable fixture!

As for the GU10 bulb, you can get it in cool white, natural white and warm white light. Cool white and natural white are both ideal for task lighting. The only difference between the two is cool white has a crisp bluish tone, while natural white has no hints of blue or yellow. On the flip side, warm white light makes excellent ambient lighting because its yellowish shade can create a relaxing and cosy atmosphere!

Fire Rated to 90 Minutes of Protection

This LED downlight is fire-rated to 90 minutes of protection. This means the hole you cut to install your lights is fully resealed, and your ceiling is reinforced to extend the time when the fire will spread (in this case, up to 90 minutes). With this, you and your household have enough time to exit safely, and the damage to your home's structure will not be catastrophic!

Only a fire-rated downlight can restore a ceiling's fire integrity once it's compromised when you cut a hole to fit your lights. It's because a fire-rated fitting is built with an intumescent pad that activates when exposed to a particular temperature, allowing it to block even the tiniest gaps where the fire may slip through!

Mains Powered - Quick to Mount

Installing this LED downlight is quick and straightforward since it’s equipped with features that simplify the process. It has a twist and lock mechanism (allows immediate bulb changes) and a large loop-in/out terminal block with push-fit connectors (screwless installation). With this, you don't need to wire your lights individually since you can connect them in series!

Besides that, it’s mains powered; therefore, you don’t need to purchase a separate driver or transformer to make it work. All you got to do is plot the placement of the downlights, trim the cut-out hole, wire the fixtures to the mains circuit, add a bulb of your choice, and you’re done. Easy peasy!

High-Quality! Made from Die-Cast Aluminium

This LED downlight is constructed from die-cast aluminium, so you can expect that it will last for years without rusting and tarnishing! As for upkeep, you only need to occasionally wipe it with a clean damp cloth to remove dust and dirt that's most likely hindering the light from being delivered to the surfaces below. Also, giving the bezel a wipe will bring back its original lustre!

When purchasing ceiling lights, it's crucial to get those that are durable and guaranteed to last. Ceiling lighting is more time-consuming to replace, and if it happens constantly, it'll end up eating your money, time and energy! So, get this LED downlight to avoid experiencing that hassle and stress!

The Dimensions

When it comes to installation, knowing the mounting procedure is a must. However, it would be best to learn the fixture’s dimensions, especially for recessed lighting like this LED downlight. If you wing it, there’s a chance that the cut-out hole will be too small for the downlight to fit or too big that it’ll fall off. It also can protrude instead of sitting flush into your ceiling because you did not consider the fixture’s height and the available ceiling void.

So, remember, this LED downlight is 130mm tall with an 85mm diameter and requires a 75mm cut-out hole. Follow these dimensions precisely, and you will not have any problems!
