DMX512 Master and RF 2.4G Remote in One Panel
There are two practical ways to manage your tunable-white LED lighting with this wall-mounted touch panel. One is with a DMX master that sends standard DMX control signals to compatible DMX decoders within the same DMX line or system. For systems that use wired communication between lights, this is an ideal controller.
The other is with a 2.4G RF remote. This allows you to control lights wirelessly, provided they have compatible RF receivers. This is ideal when running additional control wiring back to the wall panel would be inconvenient or more costly.
You can choose the control method that best suits the installation without needing to procure separate components, especially if you’re using both methods in a single installation.
Four-Zone Control with Scene Recall
Using this panel, you can divide your lighting into four independent zones and control each zone separately or all together as needed. This way, one area can have its own setting while another operates differently. It is ideal for multi-use environments or spaces that have different functional areas.
The scene recall feature also makes lighting adjustments quick and easy. Instead of manually recreating the same arrangement each time, you can save the setup and easily “recall” it with a single touch on the panel. Up to four recalls can be saved. This setting is particularly useful in larger rooms, open-plan interiors, and commercial spaces where several lighting circuits serve different purposes throughout the day.
Warm-to-Cool White Tuning from a Glass Touch Ring
Smoothly adjust the colour temperature of your connected lights directly from the panel's glass touch ring. You can go from warmer tones to create a softer, more comfortable setting to cooler white light for a clearer, more focused illumination. Brightness can also be adjusted from the same interface, keeping the main controls together for a simpler user experience.
The panel provides 256 adjustment levels across a 0% to 100% range. This means that changes in colour temperature or brightness do not occur in distinct "levels" but rather gradually. This results in smooth transitions every time you adjust your lights.
Finally, there's an audible prompt tone every time you touch the panel, indicating that a command has been registered. If this is not to your liking, you can switch it off for quieter operation.
Pairs With Our DMX Decoders
The touch panel acts as the control end of a DMX lighting system and requires compatible DMX decoders to drive the LED load. In other words, the panel sends control "instructions" only and doesn't power the connected lighting directly.
It follows the standard DMX512 protocol, which makes it compatible with our range of DMX decoders. It can also be used with compatible decoders from other suppliers, which is ideal for retrofitting projects with existing decoders, where the controller is the only component that needs to be changed.
If you choose wireless control, the panel sends instructions to compatible RF 2.4G receivers rather than a DMX decoder. This completely changes the panel's functionality, meaning you can choose only one mode at a time.
Mains-Powered Wall Installation
The panel is designed for permanent wall mounting and is constructed to fit a standard European wall box. This means you can easily install it in conventional light switch locations. Its white glass finish gives it a clean, understated appearance that complements most modern residential and commercial interiors.
For its power source, the panel can be connected directly to the mains circuit (100-240V AC), eliminating the need for a separate low-voltage power supply or driver. Having fewer components to secure makes the installation more straightforward.
Note that, as the product connects to a mains electrical supply, installation and wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with current UK electrical regulations.
Built to Last, with a 5-Year Warranty
Rated IP20 for protection, this touch panel is designed for indoor installation, specifically in dry locations only. It is also built to operate across a temperature range of -30°C to +55°C, so you can use it in various indoor environments.
The panel is CE, RoHS, and RED-approved, with compliance covering EN 62368-1, ETSI EN 301 489 and ETSI EN 300 328. This means it has met recognised standards and can be used in various residential and commercial applications with no issue.
It is also backed by a 5-year warranty, giving you the confidence and peace of mind that your lighting control will work as intended for a long time after installation.
