For locations where continuous lighting is unnecessary, the non-maintained mode allows the fitting to remain off during normal operation and automatically turn on if the mains power fails. Having the option to switch between modes simplifies material procurement, since there’s no need to source separate products for different functions.
The sign operates on a standard 220-240V mains supply but only needs 3W of power to run. This helps provide an efficient emergency lighting solution for all commercial and shared spaces.
Reliable 3-Hour Battery Backup
Power interruptions can happen without warning, which is why this exit sign features an integrated rechargeable battery that provides up to 3 hours of emergency backup lighting after the mains power fails. This gives occupants more than enough time to find and safely reach the exit thanks to clearly marked routes.
This dependable backup life is thanks to its 1100mAh LiFePO4 battery. A LiFePO4 battery far exceeds traditional NiCd or sealed lead-acid batteries in terms of charge cycles, resulting in a longer lifespan (2,000 to 5,000 charges).
This also means improved safety, as the battery is more resistant to overheating. The emergency exit sign itself is able to operate between an ambient temperature of 0-45°C, which means it can safely and efficiently operate within this range.
Automatic Self-Test System
Manual routine testing is time-consuming and inefficient. That’s why this emergency exit sign is designed with a built-in automatic self-test system. The fitting performs its own diagnostic checks without the need for manual intervention. This means reduced administrative burden on your end, since there’s no need to constantly check the fittings.
This way, you’re also able to detect, address, and prevent problems before they become critical. This provides added confidence that the sign will operate correctly in a genuine emergency and remain compliant with standards. If auto-testing is not preferred, you can easily switch to manual testing. You'll find a test button and a green indicator on the fitting for quick testing.

Supplied with Multiple Exit Legends
This emergency exit sign is not designed for a single application only. It comes with a selection of interchangeable exit legends featuring directional arrows: up and down, as well as one blank panel. This allows easy customisation of the sign depending on where the fitting is mounted.
