It is very important to note that this lamp is not compatible with enclosed light fittings. An enclosed light fitting is one where the GU10 lamp is fully enclosed, therefore there is no ventilation for the lamp and it will overheat and fail.
So please do not use this lamp with fire-rated downlights unless the downlight is open at the rear or in any fitting which encloses the lamp; if you do, you will void the warranty.
