Shower downlight that’s suitable for the bathroom
Are you planning to turn your bathroom into one of those Pinterest-worthy interiors? If you are, then you should pop in our shower downlights for that impeccable brightness that will wow anyone who enters!
These gorgeous polished chrome shower downlights are a very trendy fixture to include in your lighting plan. The shiny finish reflects light well, and it goes perfectly with any type of design. You can install as many or as few of these LED downlights as you need, anywhere in your home, to ensure proper illumination of your space. They’re not just limited to bathroom use.
These shower downlights are suitable for zone 1 of your bathroom and can safely be installed above your shower or bath, withstanding splashes of water and jets of water from small nozzles such as the shower. It's also dimmable when fitted with a dimmable LED GU10 bulb, allowing you to control the brightness, which is definitely a bonus in the bathroom. Full brightness is ideal for a refreshing morning shower on dark mornings, and dim, ambient lighting is perfect for a relaxing evening bath.
These shower downlights don't come with a bulb as standard because everyone has different requirements. We have, however, compatible dimmable 5w LED GU10 bulbs so you can utilise their dimming function, if you don’t want or need to be able to dim your lights then just choose an ordinary LED GU10 bulb.
This bathroom downlight has an 82mm diameter and a 105mm depth that requires a 66mm cut-out hole. If you're confident working with electrics and are doing the installation yourself, make doubly sure that you get the measurements right. You want to make sure your shower downlights fit snugly and securely, especially since it could be directly above you while you're taking a shower. If you're not sure if you can do it, it’s always best to call for an electrician to help you install your lights.
