We have listed the most common questions we are asked. If this page does not answer your question or you wish to discuss things further please feel free to contact us by email or by calling 0333 443 2465.

1. How long will it take for my order to be delivered?

All products should have an indication of delivery time on them. If you need an exact delivery time please contact us by phone or email. We will more than happy to check for you.

2. Can I return a product if it is not suitable?

Yes you can, all products with the exception of our self adhesive LED tape & LED Profiles come with a 365 day return policy (Yes, a full year!). We will never refund your postage costs unless the return is a result of an error by our company.

3. Do you offer trade prices or wholesale prices?

Yes, please email support@simplelighting.co.uk or call 0333 443 2465 for more information. However, please bare in mind, most products online are already priced below trade price.

4. Do the products you supply come with any sort of warranty?

Yes, all products carry at least a 1 year warranty. Some products even carry a 25 year warranty.

5. Can I collect my order?

Yes, you are welcome to collect any order from Unit 18, Appin Road, Birkenhead, CH41 9HH. Although you may want to call ahead for us to check that the items are in stock.

6. How will you deliver my order?

We value our customers and we understand that our customers cannot be expected to wait in all day to receive their order.

For that reason, we dispatch all of our orders using our courier DPD or royal mail.

You should always receive a email the morning of your delivery from DPD providing a Estimated One Hour Time Slot for delivery.(Although, this is something DPD are in control of and it is out of our hands and we cannot guarantee the one hour time slot).

Please be aware you can not choose this one hour time slot, however if the time is not suitable you can simply click on a link in the email choosing a different day for delivery.

If your order is over £40 and you are classed as mainland UK we will use DPD next day for your delivery.

If your order is under £40 or over £40 but you are in an area not classed as mainland UK than we will use royal mail for the delivery.

In most cases, when a customer is not in mainland UK their will be no additional shipping cost. However, occasionally if you order either a very large or heavy item or extremely fragile than we may contact you to advise we can only use a courier. This may incur an extra charge, if in doubt before ordering we recommend you contact us by phone on 0333 443 2465 or via email to support@simplelighting.co.uk

We always hold a very good stock of our entire product range. Our best selling products are available on next day delivery at no extra cost, other items will be delivered anything from 1-7 days. Every item on our website will advice you how long delivery will be. On the product just look for the product availability.

The cut off time for next day delivery is 3pm. However if your order is urgent please give us a call or email and we will try to accomadate a quicker delivery for you.

We always deliver complete orders so if you order an item which is on next day delivery and an item which is on 1-7 days delivery the full order will be delivered, not in parts unless you request this from us.

For your peace of mind, your order will be fully insured in transit in the very unlikely event of any damage.

A tracking number will be emailed to you when your order is dispatched so you can check the status of delivery 24 hours a day at www.dpd.co.uk

If your product is sent via Royal mail, we will also advise you by email and advise you of any tracking numbers which are applicable.
