LightEEZ Setup Guide

Lighteez is an exceptional addition to your home lighting system. It can be used to remotely control the brightness of warm white light strips or the brightness, pattern light and colour of RGB colour changing light strips and RGB colour changing light bulbs using your smartphone.

Once set up you can customise your home lighting system however you like it, or use it to have some fun.

Setting up your Lighteez system with your smartphone is a very simple procedure which we’re going to run through step by step below.

Step 1: Firstly make sure your lights are positioned correctly and plugged in or wired into your electric supply.

Plug in and turn on the Lighteez Wi-Fi module.

If you do not see this after refreshing, you may need to turn off and on the Wi-Fi module. Press the LightEEZ device to go to the Choose Monitor page.

Step 5: If you are using white or single colour lights choose the Monitor 3 (Right side, top row)

If you are using RGB colour changing lights choose the Monitor 4 (Left side, bottom row)

Monitors 1, 2, 5 and 6 can be ignored.

For this example we will use Monitor 4.

Each monitor has 4 separate channels you can set to a different room or setting. For example you may have Channel 1 for your Kitchen strip light, Channel 2 for your TV backlight, Channel 3 for your hallway and Channel 4 for your bedroom.

To link up a light up to one of the channels, unplug or turn off the light source you wish to connect up to the channel. Turn on the light and quickly; press the “on” button of the channel you want to sync that light up to on the app. The light will flash 3 times to confirm its connection.

You can double check the connection by pressing the colour wheel in the centre of the app to change the colour of the light. If the light changes colour, it is connected.

Step 6: At this point you will want to Sync the Wi-Fi module with your home Wi-Fi.

From the Choose Monitor page go into Configuration. Press Configure AP.

At this point your phone will automatically connect to your home Wi-Fi. If it does not, connect to your home Wi-Fi via your phone’s connection settings.

Your phone will now be connected to the Lighteez Wi-Fi connector via your home Wi-Fi. You will be able to set up all 4 lighting channels via the app using this connection.

Step 7: ENJOY!
