These are the amazing ‘man caves’ created by our friends Arctic Cabins that feature Simple Lighting’s colour-changing LED lighting strips that create a vibrant or soothing feel to this unique and sought after feature.
The quirky wooden houses are fast replacing the humble shed packed full of spider-web covered tools in Britain’s gardens.
Instead of rusting spades and half-empty tins of paint the cabins have enough space for 30 people to dance the night away surrounded by super cool features.
But the centre-piece is a flaming grill where budding BBQ champs can show off their culinary skills while friends and family sit around on deer skin, sourced from sustainable herd in Sweden, or seating pads.
The cabins come in a range of sizes from small, which seats 10 and sleeps three, to extra-large and Derbyshire-based makers Arctic Cabins also make a ‘gigantic’ cabin designed for businesses that seats 35 and sleeps up to six.
If some men out there are looking for a place to escape the cabins are perfect ‘man caves’ complete with DJ decks and Simple Lighting’s top of the range LED lighting strips for multi-coloured parties or romantic nights around the fire pit.
All of the cabins are a standard design and Arctic Cabins are the only makers of sloping walled cabins and come with a stunning Finnish accessory pack, making them perfect for year-round BBQs.
It includes cutlery, utensils, kettle, bottle opener, match box holder, a set of coasters and kuksa, which are Finland’s traditional wooden mugs.
Arctic Cabins have been operating for 15 years from their head office in Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Their unique designs featured on BBC One show DIY SOS The Big Build in 2014 and we have enjoyed working with them and proud that our lighting is attracting so much attention after being featured in the Derby Telegraph.
Italian chef Aldo Zilli, who is a consultant for restaurant chain San Carlo, which is a favourite for celeb haunt for the likes of Rhianna, Sir Tom Jones, and Premier League footballers, had one built for the grounds of his luxury home in Redhill, Surrey.
Managing Director of Arctic Cabins Gareth Parkinson said: “Our barbecue cabins are very popular, we’ve never been busier.
“People are looking at different ways to create new spaces in their homes and gardens.
“Our cabins are so versatile individuals can personalise them and use them in the way that works best for them. We’ve supplied cabins that have been kitted out with huge TV screens and beer fridges to cosy, cabins for couples.
“The building a cabin for Aldo Zilli was a real coup for us as it really shows that the barbecue can be an extension of the kitchen.”
Prices for the super cool cabins start at £7,750.
