LED backlight for your TV

TVs Look AMAZING with LED Backlight

There’s nothing better than pouring a bowl of popcorn, curling up on the sofa and watching your favourite film in the dark. Or is there? If you have a wall mounted TV, then an LED backlight TV kit can really help you set the mood, adding a super cool splash of colour to your room in the process.

And backlighting doesn’t just look great; it’s good for your eyes, too. That’s because having an even hue around your wall mounted TV screen helps reduce the eyestrain that comes from watching television in the dark.

Here’s how you can ensure that all eyes will be on what’s behind your TV, as well as what’s on it.

Pick your LED backlight kit

LED TV kits come in a range of sizes, from 18 inches to 50 inches plus, so be sure to pick the one that’s a good fit for your television.

The next thing you should consider is your room’s colour scheme. TV kits are available in colours to suit most decors, including warm white, cool white, red, green or blue – all of which will emit a relaxing luminous glow.

Or, if you really want to go to town, you can even choose a multi-coloured option, along with remote controls to adjust the brightness of your LED strips.

Fit your kit

Once you’ve got the size and colour sorted, it’s time to fit your LED strips. Installation couldn’t be easier: simply peel off the self-adhesive strips and stick to the back of your telly.

Each kit comes complete with the relevant transformer and mains lead. This can be either plugged into your nearest socket or connected directly to a lighting circuit.

Upgrade to downlights

LED TV kits aren’t the only way you can transform your room with light. LED downlights are also an excellent way to create real ambience in your living room, whilst accentuating certain objects – including your TV.
