When you bought an incandescent bulb you knew that a higher wattage meant a brighter light. However, wattage really measures power consumption, not brightness. Lumens measure brightness. You can use the chart below to match the wattage of an incandescent to its LED counterpart. LEDs use less power and save money.
Warm lighting is similar to conventional lighting and has a softer feel. This lighting is perfect for living rooms and bedrooms.
Daylight - The colour of the lighting is used to represent ‘daylight colour’ indoors. It has neither the softness of warm white or the starkness of cool white.
Cool white - Is a brighter whiter light and is more suited for the bathroom or kitchen.
Our colour tunable Smart GU10 LED Bulb is controllable through your smartphone using our free APP and it also controllable through your smart speakers.
The technology used to build this bulb is called TUYA, which is very common in home automation. This means that the APP can be controlled through not only the Home Flow APP but also through an APP called Smart Life, this makes the product super reliable.
This cross-compatibility means that it is compatible with other products, such as our LED Strip Controller and our Smart LED driver.
This GU10 bulb is Colour Tunable. This means that:
- You can tune any white colour you want from very warm white to natural white all the way up to cool white and everything in between. (2700K to 6500K)
- It is fully dimmable (Using the APP or Smart Speaker Only)
Using the HomeFlow APP, you can group bulbs together and set schedules so they can be controlled at the same time, choosing the same colour. Using the Smart Speaker, you say things such as:
- Alexa, switch on the kitchen lights
- OK Google, change the living room lights to warm white
- Alexa, Change the lights to cool white
- Ok Google, dim the lights to 50%
- Plus many more!
Finally, these GU10 lamps connect via WiFi (2.4Ghz only) - this means that you can switch your lights on and off even when you are not at home, ideal when you are away.
