What is LED Tape?

LED tape is a continuous strip of light up to a maximum of 6 Metres long. It is only 2-3mm thick with the flexibility of a metal tape measure.

This LED Strip has 60 LED's per every metre of strip..

The IP65 rated LED Tape dust proof and splashproof, therefore cleaning and maintenance is very easy, simply run a damp cloth across the strip.

The LED Tape can be used indoors & outdoors

It uses 3M branded self adhesive so you simply peel and stick on. It's cuttable to the nearest 50mm therefore very personalised and we will cut to size for all of our customers free of charge if the order is over £30, therefore you only pay for what you need.

Choice of three controllers. You can control our LED Tape by using ONE of our three controllers below;

1. Simple RF RGB Remote control (Order code SLGRGB). This gives you a choice of 8 colours, 6 pre-programmed colour changing settings, dimming on single colour and slow down/speed up the colour change.
2. Advanced RF RGB Remote Control (Order Code SLG2RGB). A touch screen remote control gives you a choice of thousands of colours, 15 pre-programmed colour changing settings, dimming on single colour and dimming on several of the pre-programmed settings also and slow down/speed up the colour change.
3. For a professional touch - DMX Wall Controller (Order Code SLGDMXWALL) & DMX Decoders (SLGDMXD) . We recommend calling us on 0800 334 5183 to order this item as it can be a little confusing. This is a wall mounted 3 gang controller, hundreds of colours, dimming on single colour & 10 pre-programmed settings including "sound to light". As well as the DMX wall controller, you also require DMX decoders and CAT5 cables when you select option 3.

You will need a LED Driver & Remote Contol Pack to run this product. An LED driver is basically a transformer. Please see table below;

For every cut of LED tape, you will need a 4 core input wire (Order code TINPUT). It is basically a 2 mtr power cable which allows you to simply wire each length of LED Tape back into the Receiver. We can solder the LED Input lead to the cut of tape for you as part of our bespoke service or you can do this yourself, it is very straight forward to do and will take no longer than a couple of minutes.
